One Source Industrial Sales supporting Breast Cancer in October

In the month of October One Source Industrial Sales will donate 2% of gross sales to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Lexington Affiliate, Pink Prom. The Lexington Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation plays a vital role in fighting breast cancer by providing breast health education, breast cancer screenings and treatment programs in our community. A portion of donations to the Lexington Affiliate will also go to the national program to fund breast cancer research worldwide.

In the U.S, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women.

When localised and detected early, the 5 year survival rate is 98%.

Although rare, breast cancer occurs in men. It is estimated that 2,150 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year, approximately 50 will die.

Each year 220,000 women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer, 40,000 will die.
