NKE Distributors’ Conference 2014 in Linz, Austria: Distribution partners are brand ambassadors

Steyr, Austria, May/June 2014. Bearing manufacturer NKE Austria GmbH held its seventh Distributors’ Conference from 22 to 24 May 2014. The conference took place in Linz, Austria and was attended by 110 participants from 42 companies, 25 countries and four continents. The event, which takes place every two years, provides NKE’s global business partners with a platform for exchanging experiences and ideas.

The conference started on 22 May with an evening reception. On the following day presentations were made about the current economic environment in Europe, the United States of America and China, the developments in and outlook on the global bearing market, and the latest developments in NKE bearing technology. The day concluded with a gala dinner in a former leather factory near Linz. An excursion on the second day gave conference participants a chance to enjoy the historic Bohemian town of Crumlaw, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The conference ended with the guests’ departure on 24 May. The next NKE Distributors’ Conference will take place in 2016.

Engineering, product development, production and final processing of components, modular assembly, quality assurance, logistics, sales and marketing are centralised at NKE’s headquarters in Steyr, Austria.
