Motion Industries Releases Tom’s Toolbox Video Outlining IEC Motors

Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) replacement parts has released another Tom’s Toolbox video for the “motors” category. Tom’s Toolbox videos embody the same format of MiHow2 videos, but in shorter time snippets.

“Overview of IEC Motors” can  now be viewed on the MiHow2 webpage, under the Tom’s Toolbox heading. The video, filmed with the help of Baldor, teaches the viewer the specific differences between NEMA and IEC motors. (To view the video immediately, please click the IEC title above).

“Understanding the differences between the two types of motors is very important,” said Randy Breaux, Motion Industries’ Senior Vice President, Southern U.S. Operations, Corporate Marketing and Strategic Planning. “Knowing the difference allows you to make a better decision on which motor is right for your application.”

Each Tom’s Toolbox video is filmed in a workshop or appropriate off-site setting and features Motion Industries’ witty and always informative host Tom Clark, demonstrating a product or application to help save time and/or money.

The series is also available for viewing via Facebook and YouTube. Additional Tom’s Toolbox videos are scheduled to be posted in coming weeks.

With annual sales of $4.8 billion, Motion Industries is a leading industrial parts distributor of bearings, mechanical power transmission, electrical and industrial automation, hydraulic and industrial hose, hydraulic and pneumatic components, industrial products, safety products and material handling.
