Bearings
George Lodge & Sons Ltd has been a distributor of bearing products since the 1920’s when it became an authorised distributor for the Ransome & Marles bearing company. This association still exists today as we are an authorised distibutor for NSK bearings who aquired the companies of Ransome & Marles, Hoffman and Pollard (RHP) in the 1990’s.
NSK offer products covering all bearing types and include the RHP branded Self Lube range of housed bearing units.
We are also authorised distributors for Timken who specialise in tapered roller bearings. Timken also incorporates the Torrington, Fafnir and Nadella brand which adds spherical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, wide inner ring bearings and, introduced in 2008, deep grooved ball bearings.
George Lodge & Sons Ltd not only has direct access to NSK and Timken’s products via online ordering, but also to their engineering and technical departments which adds value to its own considerable expertise.
Power Transmission
After considerable investment in stockholding of transmission products in the mid 1990’s we have continued to increase, not only our stockholding, but our expertise in this field by working closely with some of the worlds leading manufacturers.
George Lodge & Sons Ltd is a major authorised distributor of Optibelt belting products and is proud to have been appointed a member of Regina’s ’20 Club’ in 2008.
A recent addition to our Power Transmission range is Nord geared motors. Nord are renowned for their product quality throughout the world.
Lubricants & Oil Seals
George Lodge & Sons Ltd is an authorised distributor for Rocol Lubricants and stocks their full range of products which includes their Foodlube range of NSF H1 lubricants.
To compliment the specialist range of Rocol products, George Lodge & Sons also stocks products from the Morris Lubricants industrial range.
Associated Products
A wide range of associated engineering products are also stocked at our English Street premises.
Oil seals & o rings to suit most applications are available in a variety of materials as are our range of wheels and castors.
