You may or may not know that Peter and myself have signed up to the challenge of cycling from London to Paris (!!) over 3 days in September, total mileage of 242 miles.
This ride is for the Rainbow Trust Children Charity. Every year hundreds of families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness turn to Rainbow Trust for support http://www.rainbowtrust.org.uk/about_us
Our aim is to raise a minimum of £3,000 and we are hoping we can count on your support and donations to help us achieve our ambitious goal. If you would like to support us we have set up a ‘just giving page’.

We will be on Facebook and Twitter if you wish to follow our training programme (so you can feel our pain!) and then chart our progress on the actual ride. We are obliged to have all fund raising monies in by the 25.06.14 (June 25th), so no pressure as this is only 6 weeks away!!
The route is:
Day 1 – London to Portsmouth, distance 85 miles.(then overnight ferry to Caen)
Day 2 – Caen to Evreux, distance 85 miles.
Day 3 – Evreux to Paris ( finishing under the Eiffel Tower) distance 72 miles.
We intend to be back at work on the 8th Sept, bottoms permitting!!
We hope we can hit our goal.
