Craft Bearings Announcement

JSC “CRAFT bearings” is a company with an extensive practice, professional team and big ambitions, operating in the global market for more than 20 years. Our company is not only engaged in trade and export of bearings, but also manufactures them.

We would like to inform you that on 6th February 2015, JSC “CRAFT bearings” became a joint owner of the bearing plant Joint Venture “SPZ-BEARINGS” in the city of Akhunbaev, Andijan Region, Uzbekistan. The Joint Venture “SPZ-BEARINGS”, the former State Bearing Plant 27, was founded in 1986. This is the only plant in Uzbekistan that specializes in manufacturing of bearings for different branches of industry, automotive production and the national economy. The main assortment of output products is intended for the automotive industry including the purposes of agricultural engineering.

The enterprise has all the necessary engineering and communication facilities. The production infrastructure consists of 5 production workshops: automaton-turning, heat-treating, separator, ball-bearing, grinding and assembling workshop, the finished-products storage area and administration building. We have over 500 pieces of manufacturing equipment: cutting, grinding, polishing, milling, heat-treating etc. The total manufacturing area is 15,400 square meters.

The enterprise has implemented a quality management system in accordance with ISO 9001 and has a centralised accredited laboratory for testing of manufactured articles in accordance with all engineering data.

All products of the enterprise are approved by a certificate of conformance of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology of the Russian Federation and the Agency for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of Uzbekistan, as well as other necessary certificates of conformances of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology. The major part of bearings manufacturing of “CRAFT bearings” is to be moved to the plant in Uzbekistan. This step towards co-production of the “CRAFT bearings“ and joint venture “SPZ-BEARINGS” allowing us to expand globally the range of high-quality bearings of different types and models demanded on the modern market as well as to improve the manufacturing of bearing products in accordance with the global level of engineering and technology.
