“This investment will further strengthen our position as a supplier to the Russian Railways, and provide the local market with high quality solutions for its rapidly expanding railway infrastructure, says Rutger Barrdahl, President Railway Business Unit. “It helps our customers to become faster in their homologation process and allows us to have a closer cooperation with them and become more responsive to their needs.”
Testing is part of the development process of new products and solutions and is the key for long-term safety and reliability of railway rolling stock performance. The new centre will test axlebox bearings and units according to the test specifications of the Russian market.
