National Engineering Industries (NEIL), one of the leading bearing manufacturer in India, has been conferred with the 2015 Deming Grand Prize. NEIL is the makers of the premier brand NBC Bearings and part of the CK Birla Group.
Mr Rohit Saboo, President and CEO, NEIL received this award in Tokyo, Japan on behalf of the company. This is the second time the company has received this award. It had first received the award in 2010. The company claimed that it is the only bearings company in the world to be recognised for highest implementation of TQM

NEI has a capacity of 100 million bearings in more than a 1000 sizes. NEIL exports for across the globe in two wheeler, passenger cars and commercial vehicle segments.
NEIL registered an overall turnover of Rs. 1,500 crores in FY14-15 and exports have grown seven folds over the last five years from $5 million in 2009 to $35 million in FY 2015.
Deming Grand Prize recognizes both individuals and businesses for their contribution to the field of Total Quality Management (TQM).
